Well here we are in mid August, where has summer gone?

Just got back from an incredible trip to Brazil, while there I visited the Cerrado forests of the Piaui and the amazing Pantanal. A big thanks you goes out to Roy Toft, www.toftphoto.com, for putting this unbelievable adventure together and our guides; Rafael Teixira in Piaui and Fabiano Oliveira in the Pantanal. Both were above and beyond all expectations. Their vast knowledge of the areas and the abundant wildlife of the regions made for an unforgettable trip. I would highly recommend looking either of these very professional gentlemen up if you are planning a trip to Brazil in the future. I look forward to returning to Brazil in the very near future and experiencing more of this wonderful country and its diverse wildlife. We continue to work frantically on images for the upcoming Glacier Park International Airport exhibition; 50 of my favorite images from around the world will be on display for travelers at the airport. This is a 12 month solo exhibition and we're looking forward to this outstanding opportunity. "Your Adventure Begins Here" opens October 2010. We'll be posting more information on the exhibit as the opening date nears.

In just a few weeks I'll be off to Alaska for my annual trip back home and to share this special place with fellow photographers. Our 2010 trip to Redoubt Mountain Lodge (www.redoubtlodge.com) is FULL! but we've got dates for the 2011 Alaska Wilderness Experience Photo Safari. Our 2011 trip will again be in mid September when the fall colors will be out at their best, and oh yes there will be plenty of bears to photograph and lots of silver salmon to catch!
