About Nick Fucci
I like to refer to myself as a misplaced Alaskan, now residing in Somers, Montana in the Northwest corner of the state; I still consider myself a part of the far north.

My camera equipment consists of Canon bodies, 1DX II & III and a variety of Canon lenses from 16-35mm wide-angle to 600mm III f4 fixed as well as an assortment of gadgets. Besides critters and avian subjects, I enjoy photographing macro subjects especially insects. This has opened a whole new world to me!
I am the past president of the Alaska Society of Outdoor & Nature Photographer’s and a founding member and past president of the Northwest Montana Nature Photographer’s. In addition I’m a current member of NANPA, the North American Nature Photographer’s Association..
I currently teach Outdoor & Nature Photography at Flathead Valley Community College through the Continuing Education Department. This fall marks my 16th year of teaching photography at the college. I can't think of a better way to share my good fortune than to pass it on!
With my patient wife Pam I enjoy traveling around this amazing planet to capture all its incredible diversity. I currently lead photo safaris to Alaska, Costa Rica, and Africa as well as private and small group workshops around my around my home in Montana which includes Glacier National Park and the National Bison Range.
