About Nick Fucci

Nicc Fucci I like to refer to myself as a displaced Alaskan. I now call Somers Montana above Flathead Lake in the Northwest corner of the state home. However, I still consider myself a part of the far north 😊.

My camera equipment consists of several Canon bodies but my 1DX III & an R5C mirrorless are my go too bodies. I have a variety of Canon lenses from 16-35mm wide-angle to 600mm III f4 fixed as well as an assortment of gadgets. Wildlife consists of 90% of the body of my work but I also enjoy dabbling with Scenic and Macro, especially insects.

I am the past president of the Alaska Society of Outdoor & Nature Photographer’s (ASONP) and a founding member and past president of the Northwest Montana Nature Photographer’s (NWMNP). In addition, I’m a current member of NANPA, the North American Nature Photographer’s Association.

I taught Outdoor & Nature Photography at Flathead Valley Community College through the Continuing Education Department for 17 years as well as in Alaska for nearly 10 years at Anchorage Community College through their Community Schools program. I can't think of a better way to share my good fortune than to pass it on!

With my patient wife Pam, I enjoy traveling around this amazing planet capturing all its incredible wild diversity. I currently lead photo safaris to several locations in Alaska and in Southern Africa and private and small group workshops around my home in Montana.

Besides photography I enjoy hunting and fishing and I stay busy with our hobby farm with its llamas, chickens, and weenie dogs. Drop a line at the link below if you have a photography question, would like to know more about our photo safaris or just want to chat.
