Date: November 11, 2023 - November 12, 2023

Join us and experience the annual Bighorn Sheep rut in the rugged beauty of Hells Canyon. Located on the borders of Idaho, Washington, & Oregon this 2-day photo safari takes you up the Snake and Salmon rivers deep into the home of these amazing creatures.

Experience the clash of the titans in the rugged remote depths of Hells Canyon located on the borders of Washington, Idaho, and Oregon.  Each year in the late fall the Bighorn Sheep gather for the breeding season and we’ll be joining them to witness this spectacle in the depths of Hells Canyon.  Accessible only by jet powered river boat we’ll travel up the Snake and Salmon rivers to photograph the Bighorns as they put on a spectacular show.

The Snake River began carving the Hells Canyon out of the volcanic plateau a mere 6 million years ago and continues to this day.  Besides the geologic history, the canyon has a rich cultural history as well; native American tribes like the Nez PercĂ©, Shoshone-Bannock, Northern Paiute , and Cayuse once lived in the canyon to early explores like the  Lewis and Clark Expedition in 1806.  Over the years mining and even homesteading has helped form the history of the amazing region.

Our Hosts are experienced river guides Hells Canyon Sport fishing with over 100 combined years of experience on the river.  We’ll be ferried up the river in luxury on board a 34 foot, twin 500hp inboard jet boat; there’s no time wasted fighting the current to get to the sheep!  In addition, you’ll have a chance to fish for the river’s famed White Sturgeon, the largest freshwater fish in North America.

Don’t delay, reserve your spot on this once in a lifetime experience.
