We've just returned from our Costa Rica Photo Safari and everyone came back tanned with hundreds, and in some cases thousands of new images. What a great way to escape the long winters back home in Montana!

Of special note was our adventure with a Tapir that just liked hanging out with a bunch of photographers. I guess he thought it was his big chance to appear on the pages National Geographic. A big thanks to our hosts Terry and Kayta Conroy and all the staff at Lookout Inn in beautiful Carate, Costa Rica. www.lookout-inn.com . I'd also like to thank Eric our guide in Corcovado NP. It was a long day but boy was it worth it!

In addition to our Safari at Lookout Inn we also spent some time with the folks at Bosque Del Cabo where I did a little fishing and managed to boat 7 sailfish, what a day of fishing! We also made our first trip to Savegre Hotel De Montana high in the cloud forest, the lodge sits at 7300 feet and its up from there, the scenery and amazing variety of birds was unforgettable. And, the Rio Savegre is a trout stream up there with the best in the world. To view more of the images from this years safari, check out "What's New".

We've still got space for our 2009 Alaska Wilderness Experience Photo Safari at spectacular Redoubt Mountain Lodge (www.redoubtlodge.com) This years trip will be in mid August and the bears will be feasting on bright red sockeye salmon. Later this spring will be off to Memphis, TN to see friends and do some shooting, I hope to visit a Civil War battlefield or two and bring the past to life through our images.

Spring's just around the corner and birds will have on their very best for courtship, its time to photograph the feathery fellows!
